Gyro lost his mate during one of his first investigations,along with it he got some scars on his nose and at his left eye (note: real scars on cats tend to be black, atleast on my cat that is, he has some scars and there black not pink)
he comes from a pure line of japanese bobtails who share the same gift. his gift allows him to see/fight and destroy spirits.
